Structured blogging
Belated congratulations to the Structured Blogging folks on their announcement this month and all the buzz. I think this is an important step forward for blogging and Rojo is happy to support this effort. I'll add to Dick Hardt's response to Paul Kedrosky's skepticism about structured blogging that "people are lazy" by saying that while Paul has a point, it is the opportunity for Internet companies to create cool services that provide value to people despite the fact that they are "lazy" (or to be more charitable to "people" -- that they don't do things unless they perceive a clear benefit for doing so.) Internet companies are in the business of providing value for little effort, so it's up to us to actually DO something cool to warrant the effort required to blog with "structure." 2006 will be a fun year.
